Shares of Zee Entertainment Enterprises (Zee) surged 6.5% to an intraday high of Rs 122.88 on the BSE after the company, in an exchange filing on Monday, informed that the group’s Managing Director (MD), Punit Goenka, has resigned from his role. However, he will retain his position on the company’s board.
