Losses among retail investors trading in the Futures & Options (F&O) segment of the stock market are becoming a recurring phenomenon, according to a study by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI). The SEBI study says that nine out of every ten F&O traders incurred losses in the financial year 2025-26.
