Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) have sold more than Rs 2 lakh crore worth of equities in the secondary market so far in 2026. After net selling of Rs 2.4 lakh crore in 2025 and Rs 1.29 lakh crore in 2024, foreign investors continue to remain bearish on the Indian market. For investors, the million-dollar question now is when FIIs will return to the stock market.
