Silver stole the spotlight on Monday as prices surged to fresh record highs in the futures market. The March silver contract jumped a sharp Rs 14,000, or 5.7%, to hit a new peak of Rs 2,54,174 per kilogram. Notably, this marked the first time silver crossed the Rs 2.50 lakh level in the Indian futures market, underscoring the strong bullish momentum the white metal has built over recent weeks.
