Indian equity indices broke five-day losing streak to end higher on July 27 with Nifty around 24,000. At close, the Sensex was up 776.01 points or 1.02 percent at 76,835.78, and the Nifty was up 228.50 points or 0.96 percent at 23,995.95. About 2646 shares advanced, 1530 shares declined, and 176 shares unchanged.
