Indian equity indices ended on strong note with Nifty above 25,900 on December 19. At close, the Sensex was up 447.55 points or 0.53 percent at 84,929.36, and the Nifty was up 150.85 points or 0.58 percent at 25,966.40. About 2538 shares advanced, 1326 shares declined, and 127 shares unchanged.
