Indian equity indices ended on strong note with Nifty above 23,950 on November 4. At close, the Sensex was up 383.55 points or 0.50 percent at 77,301.40, and the Nifty was up 149.75 points or 0.63 percent at 23,960.60. About 2948 shares advanced, 1260 shares declined, and 170 shares unchanged.
