Indian equity indices ended on strong note with Nifty above 24,250 on March 10. At close, the Sensex was up 639.82 points or 0.82 percent at 78,205.98, and the Nifty was up 233.55 points or 0.97 percent at 24,261.60. About 2998 shares advanced, 1111 shares declined, and 125 shares unchanged.
