Indian benchmark indices ended lower with Nifty below 25,200 on February 27. At close, the Sensex was down 961.42 points or 1.17 percent at 81,287.19, and the Nifty was down 317.90 points or 1.25 percent at 25,178.65. About 1615 shares advanced, 2392 shares declined, and 173 shares unchanged.
