Indian benchmark indices ended lower for the fourth consecutive day with Nifty below 22,900 on July 23. At close, the Sensex was down 363.66 points or 0.47 percent at 76,391.39, and the Nifty was down 126.65 points or 0.53 percent at 23,869.60. About 1569 shares advanced, 2479 shares declined, and 155 shares unchanged.
