Indian equity indices ended on a negative note with Nifty below 26,050 on December 2. At close, the Sensex was down 503.63 points or 0.59 percent at 85,138.27, and the Nifty was down 143.55 points or 0.55 percent at 26,032.20. About 1518 shares advanced, 2453 shares declined, and 158 shares unchanged.
