Indian equity indices ended with marginal losses in the volatile trade on April 16. At close, the Sensex was down 122.56 points or 0.16 percent at 77,988.68, and the Nifty was down 34.55 points or 0.14 percent at 24,196.75. About 2688 shares advanced, 1468 shares declined, and 128 shares unchanged.
