Indian equity indices ended higher with Nifty near 25700 in the volatile session on February 6. At close, the Sensex was up 266.47 points or 0.32 percent at 83,580.40, and the Nifty was up 50.90 points or 0.20 percent at 25,693.70. About 1800 shares advanced, 2222 shares declined, and 154 shares unchanged.
