Shares of Hindustan Zinc surged as much as 6% on Friday to hit a fresh 52-week high of Rs 708 on the BSE, taking the company close to a market capitalisation of Rs 3 lakh crore. The rally came after silver prices climbed to a fresh record high, nearing the $100 per troy ounce mark.
