Indian equity indices ended flat in the volatile expiry session on July 28. At close, the Sensex was down 69.86 points or 0.09 percent at 76,765.92, and the Nifty was down 10.60 points or 0.04 percent at 23,985.35. About 1539 shares advanced, 2543 shares declined, and 155 shares unchanged.
